Position Details

The Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine and the Hematologic Malignancies program of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) are growing their programs in lymphoma, myeloma, stem cell transplant, and leukemia. UPCI seeks junior and/or senior level physician-scientists with a focus on hematologic malignancies and a commitment to clinical core and clinical/translational research. Candidates should have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board-eligible or board-certified in medical oncology and/or hematology. Founded in 1985, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI) – designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in western Pennsylvania. With nearly 350 research faculty members specializing in disciplines ranging from cancer prevention and early detection to novel therapeutic drug discovery/development, survivorship, and end-of-life care, UPCI maintains a broad strategic vision and comprehensive approach to understanding and treating cancer.
