Position Description

The Research Specialist/Coordinator position is primarily responsible for providing support to research projects by performing HRPO submissions, completing case report forms, updating the research database, and providing ancillary support for clinical research coordinators. The incumbent will also help to coordinate research associate scheduling and fill scheduling gaps when needed.

Previous experience in a research setting is preferred. Previous experience or familiarity with HRPO documents is helpful. Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience and education required. Computer skills, interpersonal skills, and a disciplined work ethic are imperative. Previous clinical experience in a medical environment and expert medical terminology knowledge is desired. Prioritization and multitasking skills are helpful; must demonstrate initiative to learn new tasks and to prioritize workflow subsequent to initial training period.

Incumbent must be articulate, professional and courteous at all times.

NOTE: The hiring range is for full-time positions and will be prorated based on 50% effort.
