Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, founded in 1939, is one of the oldest programs in baccalaureate and doctoral education in nursing in the United States. The Department of Health Promotion and Development is seeking a qualified Research Coordinator.

The Research Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of the Treatment Induced Nausea and Vomiting Study at the University of Pittsburgh. The incumbent will have the responsibility of subject recruitment, data collection, data management, and communication with other team members.

Education Required Baccalaureate
Minimum Related Experience Level Required 1-2 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Experience with data collection and working with patients. Health care or Nursing education preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

CPR/Health Care Provider.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Background Check For position finalists, employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check.
