The University of Pittsburgh Physicians (UPP) was established in 1999 with the affiliation agreement with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. UPP offers an academic mission, including education and research, for the 23 clinical departments. UPP provides centralized support services for the clinical departments such as information services, legal services, human resources, and financial and medical billing.

Opportunities Available:

Basic Qualifications/Licensure/Certifications:

• Candidates must be board certified or eligible
• Candidates must possess a medical license in Pennsylvania


• Clinical care of gynecological patients and conducting research.
• Teaching of residents, fellows, and students
• Administrative duties

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is the# I NH-funded Ob/Gyn department in the U.S. and in collaboration with Magee Women’s Research Institute and the University of Pittsburgh have attracted over $55 million in grant funding annually. The department also consistently receives top rankings nationally by U.S. News and is currently ranked 5th in the county. The Department is recruiting for Assistant Professors, non-tenure, in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
