Position Description

The Data Analyst will collaborate with multiple Principal Investigators in the School of Nursing in the research responsibilities of analysis of data and preparation of analysis summaries.

The incumbent will participate in the development of reports and manuscripts via the analysis of the data. In addition, these results will be used in the preparation of manuscripts for publication, as well as oral or poster presentations given by Principle Investigators, on a national and international forum. A broad range of statistical techniques, particularly in the use of multivariate and longitudinal methods are required.

The Data Analyst should possess the ability to use a variety of statistical software packages, particularly SAS, SPSS, and STATA. This position requires at least master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics or a related field and at least three years post master’s degree in the application of statistics to health science research.
