Position Description

The Department of Neurology is seeking a Clinical Trials Coordinator who will provide quality PA, CRNP, or other Health Professional skills and clinical/research support to the NIA-funded Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC) through the coordination of the clinical/research services in ADRC Clinical Trials and the ADRC Subject Registry.

The incumbent will be responsible for the organization of dementia clinical treatment trials, acquisition of medical/neurological histories and performance of physical/neurologic examinations on registry and trial subjects, development of recruitment strategies, the maintenance of trial regulatory documents, and ensuring staff training. The incumbent will also participate in the education of health professionals and conduct lectures regarding AD and dementias to the lay community under the ADRC Education Core.

Education should be PA, CRNP, or Master’s level health professional in relevant field. Experience with a geriatric population is preferred, but not required.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
