Position Description

The Regulatory Coordinator will provide regulatory support with the clinical studies in the GI Division, mainly the Center for Liver Diseases. The Regulatory Coordinator will usher clinical studies through the regulatory portion of the trial submission process, and maintain the regulatory integrity of assigned clinical trials from approval to closure. The Regulatory Coordinator will provide training to other division coordinators on OSPARS, IRB, and NIH submissions. They will also assist with coordination of clinical research activities within the definition of study protocols. The incumbent will also work to negotiate research budgets with sponsors, manage income and expenses, pay invoices and manage discrepancies, and maintain the WEPAY system for the Division.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Completion of Certified Clinical Research Coordinator training and maintains current certification. At least eight years of regulatory experience may be substituted for advanced training.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Certification from an approved accreditation program.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
