Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Research Coordinator (All of Us-PA Research Program) to be part of an exciting new opportunity in Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

The incumbent will oversee and perform scientific research tasks associated with a new community-based research initiative called the All of Us Research Program. The incumbent will conduct protocol procedures, such as the administration and assistance of participant surveys, physical exam, and phlebotomy collection. This is a leadership position requiring a strong clinical background with supervisory skills to oversee the clinical research personnel.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 5-6 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

An Associate degree in nursing (RN) is required; a bachelor’s degree in a clinical or health sciences field preferred. Research experience preferred; strong clinical background and phlebotomy experience required. Experience recruiting and working with large cohort longitudinal projects is desirable

Required Licenses/Certifications

Professional licensure required, RN, CRNP or PA

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
