Position Description

This position serves as the first point of contact for the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences Department of Economics Undergraduate Unit. The incumbent is responsible for the development and coordination of the departmental course scheduling process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- providing information via phone, email and in-person to current and prospective students, parents, faculty and staff regarding academic advising policies and general University academic policies and procedures
- overseeing all departmental course scheduling actions
- working closely with the Directors of Undergraduate Studies, faculty, and staff during development and implementation of the course scheduling process
- maintaining classroom schedule and overseeing classroom equipment inventory
- marketing the Undergraduate unit via social media, events, etc.

The incumbent will be responsible for initiation and participation of daily support functions for faculty, staff, and students within the department and division, and provides comparable service and back-up to other departments as appropriate.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
