Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a student worker to join the PantherWell Peer Health Educators in providing programming on health and wellness topics including sexual health, nutrition, mental health and alcohol and other drugs.
This position requires an average 4 hours per week, though this may fluctuate depending on requests. PantherWell will also plan and implement outreach education and events at residential halls and other campus locations.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be full-time Pitt students and be in good standing with a minimum of 3.0 GPA at time of application. Candidates should also have a strong interest in and passion for health and wellness. Students should possess strong writing and oral communication skills and be able to work independently and in a team setting. Will be required to attend mandatory training sessions and team meetings.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
