Position Description

This position is located at the Department of Psychology and School of Education. The Research Coordinator will perform a variety of support and data collection duties for a federally funded research project. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining project databases and coordinating in-state research efforts. The incumbent will be responsible for maintain accurate records and detailed reports of financial resources and expenditures related to the project and maintain communication lines between school partners and the Principal Investigator. The incumbent will process subject reimbursements and prepare sponsor reports as required. The incumbent will work with investigators to create and ensure timely submission of applications, reports, and presentations, including correspondence with funding agencies and the IRB. The incumbent must have excellent organizational and communication skills, project management abilities, and academic writing skills. The incumbent must have strong work ethic and be able to work collaboratively and independently. This position requires knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and SPSS.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 1-2 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Bachelor’s degree required. Experience working in middle or high school settings and expertise in the area of education or psychology is preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
