Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking qualified Coordinator of Ticketing Operations for the Athletic Department. This position, in addition to the sport oversight as assigned by the Asst. AD for Ticket Operations and Sales, will be responsible for the execution of the highest level of customer service on behalf of the ticketing and sales office. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the daily management and oversight of the undergraduate customer service ticket office team and serve as the lead trainer to this team. The Coordinator will propose and implement the execution of existing policies and procedures for the ticket and development office. The Coordinator will be expected to carry out any other duties in order to provide seamless customer service while supporting the operational needs of the office.
The individual will be responsible for creating the training program and actual training and supervision of the undergraduate customer service ticket office team on a daily basis.
The individual will be responsible for managing the set-up and functionality of digital ticketing for all sports.
The individual is responsible for responding to the ticket office email account, updating the ticket office calendar, and distributing daily or weekly information sheet to staff.
The individual will coordinate requests for season ticket reprints and single game ticket reprints.
The individual will assist in the fulfillment of all development annual membership initiatives (membership cards, membership gifts, donor party gifts, suite gifts, catering needs, etc.)
The individual will assist with development customer service (Panther Club phone messages, Panther Club email, Panther Club webpage, etc.)

Education Required Baccalaureate
Minimum Related Experience Level Required 2-3 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Prior work experience in customer relations, management, or sales preferred.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
