Position Description

The Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine, Center for Research on Health Care Data Center at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Systems Analyst to design and maintain complex, web-based applications and databases using the .NET framework, C# programming language, and MS SQL Server for multiple research studies. The incumbent will also be responsible for creating online reports used to assist research teams in tracking and following up on subjects; consulting with investigators, studying coordinators and researching staff on study protocols; forming development, progress reports, data processing, and software evaluation; developing websites, applications, and databases for other University departments and education programs based on their specific needs.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
Three to five years of experience in the design, programming, and maintenance of web sites/applications and databases. Experience with the .NET framework, C# programming language, and SQL Server are a must.
