Position Description

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Technology, the Senior Client Services Technical Lead provides day-to-day technology support services for Swanson School of Engineering’s (SSoE) Central Administration Office, Dean’s Office, and Freshman Engineering Program staff. The Incumbent acts as a Senior Client Services Lead and liaison for these Offices and Programs on all technology matters. Support includes, but is not limited to desktop computers and laptops, software and related devices, installations, etc. The Senior Lead ensures operational and project understanding with supported customers through meetings and regular interaction beyond incident level events. Acts as a primary lead for all SSoE Advanced Computing Classrooms and provides oversight and maintenance on all hardware and software components in the classrooms. Provides project management oversight to the annual image refresh of these classrooms.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 6-9 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Master’s Degree in relevant field or combination of Baccalaureate and 5+ years professional experience or 7+ years professional experience specific to primary duties of this position.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
