The University of Pittsburgh is currently seeking a Stockroom Attendant.
He or she will be assisting the teaching laboratory instructors, give glassware and chemicals to undergraduate students, open laboratory doors, and clean the teaching laboratories. they will also stock the teaching laboratories with chemicals and equipment. He or she must maintain a safe environment for everyone.
201 Chevron Science Center – Undergraduate Chemistry Stockroom.

Job Requirements

Stand / sit / walk for 1 hour.
be able to lift 40 pounds.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
