The Allied Health Department at Pitt Johnstown in Johnstown, Pennsylvania invites applications for a non­ tenured stream, 10-month/full time position as a Clinical Instructor in the field of Respiratory Care. Pitt Johnstown is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate campus the University of Pittsburgh System,
located 70 miles east of Pittsburgh on a beautiful 650-acre site in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. The college community includes about 3,200 undergraduate students and 143 full-time faculty distributed through five academic divisions. These divisions include Business and Enterprise,· Education, Engineering, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Nursing and Health Sciences and Social Sciences·: Each division offers four-year undergraduate bachelor degree programs. Responsibilities:
The candidate will teach, review and update didactic, laboratory, and clinical classes. Other responsibilities include maintaining currency in the field of Respiratory Care, engaging students in undergraduate research, maintaining Respiratory Care laboratory and equipment, assisting in accreditation requirements and service to the department and University.

Qualifications:
A minimum 4-year degree with an active RRT credential. Must exhibit a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, currency of clinical practice, and effective oral and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated teaching experience in neonatal intensive care, airway management and pulmonary function testing. ·
