Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a student employee to work as a Mobile Health Programmer/Developer. The student will work as a programmer for various mobile health development in the Health & Rehabilitation Informatics lab. This part time job is for master’s level or advanced undergraduate with significant skills in programming. The candidate is required to have experience and skills in the following areas: Web technology including (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS) Angular JS framework, developing mobile application. The following skills will be a plus: Cross Platform Framework for Mobile App (Cordova), Ionic Framework, and modular-based programming. Sample of tasks will include helping other team member implementing app’s module, creating/modifying Cordova plugin, and designing/developing modular-based educational content. The job will include working with team of software developers, working with graphic designers and with clinicians in developing, testing, and providing support to the various mHealth systems in the lab, including iMHere, iADAPT, and other systems.

Job Requirements

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
