Position Details

Candidates with an MD or MD/PhD are being recruited to lead and/or be members of the Head and Neck Cancer, Lung Cancer; Melanoma, and Breast and Gynecologic Oncology clinical and translational research programs in the Division of Hematology-Oncology and in the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI). The incumbent will have a primary appointment in the Department of Medicine of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM) and will be a member of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Candidates at the Professor or Associate Professor level should have a demonstrated track-record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals and will be expected to sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program. These candidates should have a proven track-record in cutting-edge clinical and translational research and a strong track-record of NIH or other peer-reviewed funding. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should have at least 1-3 years of faculty experience in clinical care and be committed to developing an academic career in clinical and translational research. The professorial rank as well as salary and benefits will be commensurate with the level of experience.
