Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is currently seeking a Student Worker for the School of Information Science Labs. He or she will be responsible for opening, closing and monitoring student activity in the Student Collaboration Space; providing technical support and assistance to students and faculty of the School; and for video and audio recording of classroom lectures and/or other presentations. Training will be supplied for qualified applicants.

Job Requirements

A functional working knowledge of computers, operating systems and video conferencing equipment. On-Time reporting to open the Student collaboration Space should be considered a critical requirement of the position. Bachelor Degree or greater required.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Hourly Pay Rate $10.00

Flexible Based on Student Class Schedule.
Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM
Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
