Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is currently seeking an Undergraduate Student Researcher to assist with structural engineering research. This position requires assistance with data processing, data entry, data collection, and possible laboratory work. The laboratory work would primarily consist of fabricating and testing structural specimens.

Job Requirements

Candidate is expected to have basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of Matlab or Python preferred but not required. Laboratory safety training will be mandatory.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Hourly Pay Rate $11.00
