Position Description

The Director is responsible for cultivating campus and community life through a wide array of programs, services and activities supporting the educational, religious, spiritual, ethical and social development of Pitt-Bradford students including service, volunteerism and internships. The position also provides management for religious activities and services, musical ensembles, recitals performances, honor society inductions, lectures and readings, special gatherings for members of the campus community, and weddings and memorial services that occur in the Chapel.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Master’s degree in student affairs in higher education, college student personnel or a related field; excellent counseling and group dynamics skills; must have a working knowledge and appreciation of the variety of religious traditions represented within the Pitt-Bradford college community, and possess a willingness to work with students in finding appropriate ways to express their particular traditions through worship and other types of religious and non-religious programming.
