Job Summary

• Work with the Career Consultant whose focus is global careers.
• Help plan logistics of Global Career Series for the Fall.
• Assist with building and editing PowerPoint presentations.
• May assist in facilitating presentations to students in classrooms, residence halls, student organizations, and other venues as well as tabling at various events on campus.
• Research and update resource pages and evaluations for distribution to students; may also help with pre-workshop/event planning by putting together folders of information for students.
• Assist in brainstorming and idea/activity planning for the Global Career Series and Study/Intern Abroad Re-Entry programs and workshops.
• Work with the CDPA Marketing Coordinator to utilize social media for the Global Career Series and to promote programs, workshops, events, and student spotlights.
• Assist in collecting interview spotlights of students who have studied, interned, volunteered, or taught abroad.
• Participate in other career events, like career fairs, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Must be an undergraduate international student in the International Associates Program. Have computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Able to work independently. Have an understanding of written and oral communication skills. Must be punctual, reliable and adaptable.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
