Job Summary

The lab assistant will be responsible for the lab recitation section for the REHSCI 1220 Kinesiology and Biomechanics course offered in the spring. The assistant will serve as the instructor for that recitation and will facilitate the discussion on lab assignments. Also, the assistant will supervise the students while completing the hands-on portion of the lab assignments and clarify any questions.
There are 10 recitation sections throughout the semester and each section lasts for 1hr.

Job Requirements

-Have taken and excelled in REHSCI 1220

—Strong working knowledge of Human Anatomy and biomechanics

-Availability to lead weekly lab and recitation sections throughout the semester.

—High level of responsibility and ability to work independently

—Desire to work with, teach and mentor undergraduate students

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
