Position Description

The Division of Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking a Research Nurse who will be responsible for the startup and day to day running of clinical research on urinary incontinence in older people.

Activities include, but are not limited to: subject recruitment, assessment, medical history intake, physical examinations, record keeping, lab maintenance, and assistance with clinical studies, specifically urodynamics.

It is expected that the employee will be willing to adapt to changing department needs and continuous learning and training coinciding with the research needs of the supporting studies.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 2-3 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Must have a current professional nursing license (RN). Experience may be substituted for degree requirement if applicant holds a RN license. Experience in clinical research is strongly preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Current PA registered nursing license

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Background Check For position finalists, employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check.
