Position Description

The Financial Assistant will support finance related tasks for the Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the PA Cares for Us Research Program working with enrollment center team leads to identify and order clinic and office supplies, marketing materials, new enrollment center furniture and equipment, manage contracts (bio hazard management, Comcast, etc.), support participant payment card distribution and audit procedures. The Financial Assistant will assure proper invoice processing and management of all required supporting documentation. The Incumbent will manage travel planning and process expense reimbursements.

Proficiency with PC software and applications is required. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. The ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and a professional demeanor are essential.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 1-2 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Bachelors degree with 1-2 years professional relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree with 3-4 years professional relevant experience OR a High School diploma with 5-6 years professional relevant experience are the requirements for this position.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
