Position Details

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position on an 8- or 12-month basis with an anticipated start date of 27 August 2018. This position is outside of the tenure stream and subject to annual review.
Applicants must have a PhD in biology. The position entails teaching the introductory Foundations of Biology course, as well as upper division courses such as Genetics, Ecology, Biochemistry, or Communicating in the Biological Sciences, depending on expertise. An evening section might be included once a year.
