Position Description

The Department of Critical Care Medicine (CCM) is seeking a full-time Systems Analyst who will be responsible for complex data extraction, data organizing, manipulation, design and maintenance of new database systems, and quality assurance to support data-driven decisions, involving electronic health record data, data from clinical trials, and quality improvements efforts for the department.

Applicant is expected to have a set of data management capabilities and expertise including intermediate to advanced T-SQL development skills in MS SQL Server or similar relational database management systems. Knowledge of data integration and workflow tools such as MS SQL Server SSIS and SSRS are strongly desired. Proficiency in Python (for file processing), RESTful web services, .NET Core and ASP.NET Web API are also a plus. A front-end web development skillset is preferred, including .NET framework (particularly VB or C#).
Knowledge of Crystal Reports for reporting is desired.

Experience in health care industry with strong clinical background and experience with processing of high volume of data preferred.

Excellent communication and analytic skills a must
