Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Laboratory Course Preparation Assistant. The student worker will assist in preparing and maintaining supplies for running the Microbiology laboratory courses. Duties include: preparing, autoclaving, and aliquoting solutions; pouring plates; and maintaining stocks of consumables.

Job Requirements

Applicants should have completed introductory Biology laboratory courses with grades of B or higher. Microbiology experience is a plus.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Hourly Pay Rate $7.65
