Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Project Coordinator for the UPMC Hillman Cancer Institute project, “Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Cancer Survivors with Cognitive Dysfunction: Using Technology to Train Clinicians and Monitor Real World Outcomes of Evidence-Based Treatment to Improve Care”, sponsored by the Beckwith Institute.

This position requires a candidate with administrative skills for coordinating the project through keeping contact with key clinicians at our institution and other cancer centers, assuring compliance with data collection and security, and assuring compliance with privacy regulations in the management and use/analysis of data. The coordinator will work closely with the PI on developing a video conference training program that the PI will use to instruct other health professionals via a video conference workshop and develop an outcomes monitoring system using Qualtrics to track patient-reported outcomes (self-report questionnaires completed online).

The candidate is also required to have skills in managing Excel databases for data management and a good working knowledge of using the SPSS statistical analytics package. Experience with video conferencing is also required, or at least familiarity with video conferencing such as webinars and other training or teaching purposes of video conferencing.

NOTE: The hiring range is for full-time positions and will be prorated based on 50% effort.
