Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Pediatrics is hiring a Clinical Pathways Nurse Coordinator to support various functions within the Division of Health Informatics, working both independently and as a team member. The functions include but are not limited to development/design of clinical pathways, education and improvement initiatives that improve adherence to clinical pathways, Clinical Resource Management (CRM) Committee support, project management of pathways teams, delegation oversight, performance monitoring and assessment, clinical practice guideline management, data collection, abstraction and analysis and the continual advancement of quality improvement processes. BSN required; Masters preferred. Minimum 5 years nursing experience. Quality or research experience preferred.

This position is located at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in Lawrenceville.

TB test and PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
