Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh’s department of Facilities Management is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist duties include: Recruiting, hiring, terminating, time reporting, payroll and benefits processing for all hourly Custodial and Grounds personnel, approximately 280 employees.
Requirements: High School diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. Two years of payroll/personnel experience is also required.
