Position Description

The incumbent will be required to perform molecular and cell biology studies including but not limited to cell culture, basic genetic manipulations (protein overexpression, downregulation or silencing), and analysis of cellular and tissue material (immunoblot, RT-PCR, histological staining, immunohistochemistry). In addition, basic animal research expertise (handling, drug administration, blood sampling) is preferred. Duties will include data analysis, figure preparation and occasional presentations to colleagues within and outside our group. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, willing to learn new techniques, open to discussion and attentive to detail. A successful candidate should have a BS degree or higher in a related scientific field with at least 2 years of laboratory experience.

B.S. in life sciences. A background in Biochemistry, Chemistry and/or Biology is essential for routine laboratory duties.
