Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Training Coordinator who will develop the curriculum and provide user training for the PRISM Financial Information System. The incumbent must be skilled in matters of developing and implementing training curriculum and teaching developed course materials to various levels of users throughout the University community. He/she must be able to clearly articulate University business practices and policies associated with the PRISM system’s design and implementation. He/she must have an understanding of the Oracle applications (PO, AP, GL, and HR) and database being used to perform business transactions and reports. The incumbent is responsible for developing schedules for classroom space and instruction time with students and proctors.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Two year associate degree in computing science or business school or three years of computer teaching experience, or one year of experience teaching Oracle PO, AP, GL and HR applications.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
