Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Organizational Health Specialist who will report directly to the Associate Director of the Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU).

The Organizational Health Specialist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for coordinating with the Organizational Health Program Director, Associate Director, Director, and other research staff on projects focused on assessing organizational health and readiness to change. The incumbent will have lead responsibility for leading an implementation team in recruiting sites, conducting assessments on readiness to change, evaluating data for trends, and evaluating outcomes with respect to organizational health. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for implementing behavioral health innovations, managing data collection, and analyzing data to yield outcomes that can be used to better organizational health. This position requires the incumbent to work in a highly independent manner.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 2-3 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Master’s Degree in Public and/or Behavioral Health or a related field, with relevant experience is required. Experience in developing and conducting training programs is strongly preferred. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, statistical software programs, and web platforms is desired.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Direct supervision by the Organizational Health Program Director.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
