Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy’s Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU) is seeking a Research Project Manager with direct report to the Associate Director. The Research Project Manager is a lead role designed to support the Associate Director in administration and project management.

The Research Project Manager will provide oversight to PERU’s account portfolio, administer pre- and post-awards, and assist in the operation of funded initiatives by developing materials, establishing quality assurance metrics, and reporting. The position requires the incumbent to work in a highly independent manner and have experience managing a large research/evaluation portfolio.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required 3-5 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Master’s degree (MBA) preferred. Three to five years project management and/or fiscal management experience, including supervisory and senior level work experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
