Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a student worker to enhance recruitment efforts for on-going research at the UPMC Center for Eating Disorders. The position will involve community flyering and outreach activities to increase awareness and enrollment into the active study. In addition to recruitment activities, the student will assist research staff with data entry and day-to-day research activities.

Job Requirements

Must be a full-time University of Pittsburgh student, majoring in psychology, or a related field. Students must have at least a 3.5 GPA. 2-term commitment required. Student must have excellent communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and to maintain confidentiality is essential. Previous advertising and/or research experience and interest in clinical psychology is preferred.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
