Position Description

The Data Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining datasets within the Department of Occupational Therapy and providing data management support to the Principal Investigator. The research data are a result of a large, federally funding clinical trial. The Data Manager would be responsible for preparing databases for data collection, and subsequently for analyses once data collection is completed. They would also be responsible for ongoing communication concerning the status of data collection and database systems with the research team, as well as internal and external collaborators.
A qualified candidate should have two to five years of experience in managing large datasets, preferably in an academic setting. A bachelor’s degree and experience with REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, or data management required. Health system or health research background preferred.
