Position Details

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking candidates for a non-tenure-stream faculty position to lead the School’s new Center for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

The Center for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is a new initiative that aims to expand the discipline based scholarship of teaching and learning. The Center works in collaboration with the University’s Center for Teaching and Learning, and supports faculty in studying the impact of a wide range of teaching practices on student learning outcomes.
Candidates are expected to hold a PhD or EdD, present evidence of scholarship in the focal area of teaching and learning, and a record of effective teaching.
Founded in 1939, the School of Nursing has prepared students for an increasingly demanding health care environment through a curriculum that combines rigorous academic work with varied and intensive clinical experiences in applied practice and a growing involvement in research.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The starting date is negotiable and applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
