Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Student Technical Consultant to provide technology support for students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities include testing, diagnosing, and resolving issues for Macintosh, Windows, and Linux-based desktops/laptops. Additional computer and administrative-related tasks may be assigned. Candidate may also assist with printing, classroom tech support, and audio visual support.

Job Requirements

1. Computer hardware, and operating system(s) experience is required
2. Customer service, ability to work independently and with others.
3. Attention to detail and strong organization skills.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
