Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator who will provide support to all MACRO projects: NIH, DOD, investigator-initiated, and industry. The incumbent will perform various complex duties including database management and tracking; creating, monitoring, and supporting all IRB and OSPARS submissions; tracking financial variables and payments; and organizing, disseminating, and updating SOP’s as directed.

The Regulatory Coordinator will also provide regulatory support to multicenter protocols with interaction with site staff and site IRB. The candidate will track expenditures and resource use of various projects. He/she will collect, organize, and disseminate various information to office staff and research sites. The incumbent will schedule and coordinate various meetings to which they will prepare agendas and take minutes. Along with that, he/she will also disseminate these minutes to appropriate persons, internal and external.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

Experience in an office environment, University and research preferred.

Must be highly proficient with all Microsoft Office software.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
