Job Summary

The University’s Office of PittServes is currently seeking a student employee.

Student staff will join the PittServes team to provide both administrative and outreach support to assist the office. The Office of PittServes works with students and student organizations to increase access to community service experiences.

Job Requirements

The student(s) will be required to greet guests, answer the main phone line and provide support for the PittServes’ staff. Tasks such as mail pick up/delivery, making copies, and filing documents are shared by all student staff and will be periodically assigned.

Additional duties:
-Students with social media experience will be encouraged to work within our social media plan and further the goals.
-Students will serve as project leaders for service events when appropriate.
-Students will participate in outreach events to help further the connection between student groups and individual students to community service opportunities.
-Students will provide support to all programming provided by the Office of PittServes.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Varies: Primarily looking for availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm
