Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Center for Cellular and Molecular Engineering Laboratory is seeking a Pitt Student Worker to work on a newly funded NIH grant that will engineer micro joint tissue to study disease pathology and test drugs. This student worker will design the models of bioreactors, and perform 3D printing afterwards for verification. He/She will work under the direction of Dr. Hang Lin.

Job Requirements

Looking for a PITT student, who must be reliable and has a significant experience using 3D design software, such as Solidworks, CAD or 3DS Max. Also, please be aware that our lab is located off campus ( in Bridgeside Point II building), which is South Oakland, on Technology Drive. The PITT shuttle 40A and Bridgeside Point II shuttle are both available for commute.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
