Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support in the Department of Pediatrics: CDU LEND. The incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative functions such as acting as a central communication point to internal and external contacts; coordinating activities such as meetings, webinars, and travel arrangements; being responsible for various types of correspondence, researching, and preparing information for administrators; assisting administrators with clerical duties, processes, and data entry.

PLEASE NOTE: The hiring range posted above is for a full-time position at 100% effort. The salary range for this part-time position will be prorated based on 60% effort.

A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable. Two years of relevant administrative experience is required.

Some flexibility is required for special events. He/she will not be required to work evenings or weekends – those events that may occur at those times will be optional.

TB test and PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
