Position Details

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seeks an individual to fill a non-tenure track faculty position. Faculty rank will be determined by and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary neurotologist at a large tertiary hospital within the VA Pittsburgh Health System, leading one of the nation’s twelve VA cochlear implant programs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clinical otology/neurotology practice within the University of Pittsburgh Physicians at the Oakland/Shadyside campus. The successful candidate will also be actively involved in the education of medical students and residents as well as the development of a robust research program.

Individuals applying for these positions must hold a clinical doctorate such as a M.D. or D.O. and have successfully completed postgraduate residency training. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in otolaryngology with advanced neurotology training.
