Position Details

The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy is seeking candidates for a part time faculty position (50% effort, 20 hours/week) at the rank of Research Assistant Professor (non tenure stream) in Dr. Da Yang’ s lab. The candidate’s research should be focused on the pharmacogenomics in cancer. The individual will be responsible for the development of novel methodologies, mathematical models, and web-based tools to integrate multiĀ­ dimensional cancer genomics datasets, including next generation sequencing data, expression profiling data and bio-networks (e.g., TCGA, CCLE, and CPG databases).
Candidates with previous experience in high throughput screening of novel biomarkers for drug response in cancer are particularly encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will enjoy a stimulating multidisciplinary research environment as part of our translational pharmacogenomics initiatives aimed at identifying therapeutic targets and predictive markers for cancer treatment from high-throughput genomics and clinical data.
