Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh Pediatrics Department is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide-range of administrative and secretarial functions designed to facilitate and expedite the accomplishments of the Administrative Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services. These include tracking mandatory employment documents, coordinating meetings and maintaining network databases. Responsible for division electronic filing and various types of correspondence. Assists in implementing special projects as assigned.
A Bachelor’s Degree or business degree preferred and two years relevant administrative experience. Proficiency in Excel preferred. This position is located at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in Lawrenceville. TB test and PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment. EEO/AA/M/F/Vets/Disabled.
