The Pediatrics Department at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Pharmacist. This incumbent will provide medication education to Pediatric and Adult patients seen in the Antonio J. and Janet Palumbo Cystic Fibrosis Center (Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Falk Clinic). As well as, provide clinical support to the CF clinical team (such as reviewing pharmacokinetic data in CF patients on home IV antibiotics).
Note: No dispensing of medications will be performed.
A Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with at least 1 year post-graduate experience is required.
PLEASE NOTE: The hiring range posted above is for a full-time position at 100% effort. The salary range for this part-time position will be prorated based on 50% effort.
This position is located at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in Lawrenceville and at Falk Clinic of UPMC. Possible travel to satellite locations (South Fayette, Monroeville, and Wexford).
TB test and PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
