Position Description

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Site Coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In performance with the Center Director, the Site Coordinator, NSF CHREC Center at Pitt will arrange and coordinate semiannual CHREC workshops, periodic conference calls, etc. and prepare associated materials in advance to ensure their success. The incumbent will support the linkage between Pitt and its industry and government research partners, helping to ensure that their needs are fully met by their participation in this consortium.

The incumbent will provide administrative and fiscal management in the operation of the CHREC Center. In performance with the Center Director, the Site Coordinator will help manage the Center budget, personnel appointments, etc. The incumbent will assist the Director in the accounting of property, acquiring equipment, and securing equipment donations from industries and outside laboratories.

The Site Coordinator will also be responsible for the preparation and coordination of all components of reporting to the National Science Foundation for this Center.
