Position Description

An expanding health services research group is seeking a Project Coordinator for ongoing research projects related to critical care delivery in the United States. Primary job duties include coordination of project activities, implementing and monitoring internal project procedures, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with team managers and other research staff to coordinate the infrastructure of the research for the Program on Health Policy Management within the CRISMA Center to support several NIH-funded studies. Responsibilities will include preparing and updating IRB protocols, data management tools, study operating procedures and regulatory materials; coordinating study schedules, meetings, and travel; assisting with research presentations and annual reports; and coordinating reimbursements for study participants. To support these activities the candidate is expected to become familiar with the clinical background and scientific objectives of the research projects and the research group as a whole.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, versatility, and the ability to work independently and within a team to promote multiple projects and tasks simultaneously are required. Experience in research project coordination required. Experience with online survey administration (i.e. Qualtrics) and online project management tools (i.e. SharePoint) is preferred.
