Position Description

Responsible for providing dynamic leadership and to direct planning, organization, strategic vision and general management of the Center. The Manager/Docent will work closely with the Director of Arts Programming to refine, develop, and implement a progressive program for the Center’s exhibitions, marketing, collections management and educational activities and to foster community outreach and communications.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position

-Bachelor’s Degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Interdisciplinary Arts, Museum Studies or related field with an art/music emphasis or professional experience in a museum, non-profit organization or related business.
-Professional experience in an arts or non-profit organization with program coordination experience.

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
